yeah just go for it, the only real tenet being that its a community for occultist and [ect] people, but not 'an occult order' or whatever. then just let us know when you have a link I guess.

Any suggestions for how to bring it together?

I'm better at the solo 'arts' than the amazing and under-appreciated skill shown by those who are good at bringing folks together, I call it 'people math'.

Every group has one or two folks who seem to know exactly what-and-who you add, subtract, multiply and divide to make a "party" happen out of thin air.

If we're to have something like this thriving here some people-mathematicians would really help...

I recently edited the About page to include a few tips on how to create a group such as PDXocculture.

Hope that helps.

There are lots of people who are down in SF, getting something like this to happen for you would just be a matter of starting it up and sticking to it, I'm sure :]

OCF this year is July 9, 10, 11. Tickets to get into the Fair itself can be bought online; you can't buy tickets at the gate. I believe a three-day weekend pass is $51 this year. We camp at Darling Reunion. Camping is $43 per person for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Out by noon on Monday morning. If you want to park at your campsite, it's an extra $35. Otherwise parking is in the field if you get there on Thursday. The free onsite parking fills up quickly so if you don't get in on time, you can still park across the street at Quiet Camp. In the past, it has been $20 to park there for the weekend.
